Case: Ejner Hessel
Ejner Hessel A/S – one of Denmark's largest car dealers with approximately 1,800 employees – faced a major challenge: a shortage of skilled mechanics, auto painters, and body technicians.
The company decided to recruit 15 specialists from India and needed an experienced partner to secure work permits quickly and without errors.
Visumansøgning.dk handled the entire process – from screening the right scheme to approved permits – so the employees could start on time.
"It was crucial for us to act quickly and get the right employees to Denmark without delays. Visumansøgning.dk ensured the entire process went smoothly."

To obtain a work permit to Denmark, you must meet a few specific requirements, which are based on your nationality and the nature of your intended employment in Denmark.
For applicants from outside of the EU and Schengen region, a general mandatory requirement is to have a confirmed job offer that meets the Danish authorities’ standards for salary and employment conditions. In certain cases, for instance if you are specially qualified for a position, you may be eligible for a work permit through either the “Fast Track Scheme" or the "Special Individual Qualifications” scheme.
Here, we have compiled information about the various different schemes that exist as well as the steps needed to ensure a successful application for a residence and work permit in Denmark, regardless of whether you are a EU-citizen or non-EU citizen.
